The Oxford Philippines Society (OPS) is a student-led society that aims to promote ties between Oxford and the Philippines, and to support Filipino students during their academic life in Oxford.  Since its founding in 6 July 2011, the OPS has organized lectures, seminars, dinners, film showings, and other social events to help build mutual understanding.  We are keen on working with individuals and organizations with overlapping interests from the academe, government, and industry, from both parts of the world.  We also aim to "demistify" Oxford as a destination for Filipinos who want to study in one of the oldest and most renowned universities in the world.

Aside from members of Oxford University, membership is also open to students at neighboring Oxford Brookes University, as well as non-Filipinos and non-students!
